Elena Savenkova

Elena Savenkova is an Associate Professor in the Philosophy Department of Samara Academy of Humanities. She lectures on anthropology and media-philosophy at Samara Academy of Humanities. Her research interests include media-philosophy, with a special interest in anthropological transformation in media environments. She has also worked as a researcher on media-philosophy in collaboration with Marina Koretskaya and Elena Ivanenko since 2005. Since 2007 Elena Savenkova has regularly participated in conferences organised by the Centre for Media Philosophy in St. Petersburg. Her research has been published in a number of articles as well as in the book The Constellation of Gorgony: Essay on the Effects of Media (co-edited with Marina Koretskaya and Elena Savenkova, Sankt Petersburg: Aleteya, 2012).
