Justin Wilmes

Justin Wilmes is an Assistant Professor of Russian Studies at East Carolina University. His primary research examines post-Soviet cinema and culture, but extends also to Russian drama, translation, and Polish culture. He has published in Russian Literature, Studies in Russian and Soviet Cinema, The Russian Cinema Reader, KinoKultura, Digital Icons, The Pushkin Review, New England Review, and others. He serves as co-editor of the journal Digital Icons. He holds a Ph.D. in Slavic and East European Languages & Literatures from The Ohio State University.
