Katarzyna Wałasek

Katarzyna Wałasek is a PhD candidate at the Institute of Russia and Eastern Europe at Jagiellonian University in Cracow, Poland. She has been conducting research on the problems of geopolitics in Eurasia with an emphasis on Russian thought since the dissolution of the Soviet Union. She is currently working on her doctoral thesis, ‘Post-Cold War Geocultural and Geopolitical Projects as An attempt to Define the Cultural Identity of Modern Russia’.
