Anna Krasteva

Anna Krasteva is political scientist and Professor at the New Bulgarian University where she created and is in charge of the CERMES (Centre for Refugees, Migration and Ethnic Studies) at the Department of Political Sciences. Krasteva teaches ethnic and migratory policy in Sofia, Bologna, Sarajevo and in other universities across Europe. She is Doctor Honoris Causa of University of Lille 3, France (2010). Prof. Krasteva is Editor in Chief of the journal Southeastern Europe, published by Brill. She is author and editor of many books devoted to migration, mobility, identity, power, political mobilization, discourse. Her most recent books are From Migration to Mobility: Policies and Roads (2014, Sofia: New Bulgarian University) and the edited volume La rue et l’-e-rue. Nouvelles contestations citoyennes (2015, Paris: Harmattan)
