Jennifer Keating

Jennifer Keating is a PhD candidate at the School of Slavonic and East European Studies, University College London, and a Junior Research Fellow at the Institute of Historical Research, University of London. Her doctoral research focuses on the production and representation of space in colonial Central Asia, with emphasis on visual recordings of the built and natural environment. As a related part of this project, she is also working on the uses of digital technology in history writing, particularly with regard to GIS, surrogate images and digitisation practices.
